Memory.
When I though of memory I thought of Photography. A photograph is the capture of time and memory. In my artifact I decided to look at the way in which memory can be altered, one of the ways was to directly alter the photograph but in a relevant way.
I looked at the work of Frank Warren and his book ‘PostSecret’. His book is about people from all over the world submitting their secret on a postcard, along with their secret they illustrate their postcards appropriately. I decided to take inspiration and customise the photographs according to what the memory means. I also looked at the work Tracy Emin over the summer as part of the ‘spectacle’ part of our task, so incorporated her use of text similar to the way she used text in her work like the tent.
